This spring, Neri&Hu's Founding Partner Professor Rossana Ju-Shan Hu was named as Chair of the Department of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design, effective spring semester 2024.
The University of Pennsylvania's appointment follows Hu's years of remarkable teaching career at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Yale School of Architecture, University of California, Berkeley and Hong Kong University. Hu was appointed professor and chair of the Department of Architecture in the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University in 2021.
This fall semester will be Hu's last semester as chair at Tongji University. While it is sad to leave such an excellent institution, Hu wishes to continue to support the vision she had started at Tongji University and find future opportunities to establish close ties and exchange programs between the two schools.
