We are delighted to announce that The Chuan Malt Whisky Distillery designed by Neri&Hu won the Best Commercial Project in Architecture by Créateurs Design Awards (CDA) 2022. The awards ceremony was held in Paris recently.
The Chuan by Neri&Hu is Pernod Ricard's first malt whisky distillery in China. As an exemplification of the Chinese concept of duality, the project creates a timeless architecture that speaks to the core values of a visionary new brand as well as the material and cultural heritage it aspires to sustain.

The Créateurs Design Awards is a peer-to-peer award chosen by more than a hundred international designers. It is organized by Créateurs Design Association with the intent to highlight extraordinary work in architecture, interior, and product design, recognizing excellence in the design industry to preserve design integrity and inspire future generations. At the award ceremony, Créateurs Design Association also presented awards to Sir David Adjaye, Iris Apfel, and other designers for their great contribution and dedication to the design field.
Créateurs Design Association gave a speech: "The fluent design of energy in space reflects architect's vision in it. It’s of the greatest importance in non-residential architecture projects to acknowledge the architects with master the art and science of creating spaces that can join these two things together without sacrificing the aesthetic part of it."
