香港贝尔特酒店
Centered in the old industrial district of San Po Kong, Penta Hotel (Kowloon) is an upcoming hospitality landmark of 713 keys. Continuing the hotel’s signature concept as a ‘city with attraction nodes’, architect Neri&Hu integrated dashes of vernacular culture unique to Hong Kong throughout this 33-story interior. As home to the open-seating pizza bar, the ground floor is a casual hangout marked by concrete walls laced with graffiti and a rustic pizza oven soaring multi-levels above.
Via sets of sculptural escalators connecting 3 public floors, guests arrive at permanent functions such as the group check-in, reception, and game rooms—key areas that are ‘carved’ out of aged brick massing and inlaid with reclaimed oak interiors. At the Penta Café level, the all-day dining experience is materialized through market stalls of fruit, noodle bar, and grill station. Erected amongst sea of fluctuating glass pendant lights, these market stalls of slender metal profile and mesh canopy capture a dining intimacy reminiscent of local food stands and open air markets.
